In some instances, the front display may show an Encoder Error and prevent access to programming. If this occurs, it is possible that the Station ID is set incorrectly.
Correct Station ID Settings
- Single units: Station ID should be set to 0
- Dual units:
- Left unit Station ID should be set to 0
- Right unit Station ID should be set to 1
Changing the Station ID
To change the Station ID to the correct value, you will need to remove the SD card from the HD Driver Board located at the top of the unit.
- Remove the hardware from the small access panel.
- Inside the unit, against the ball wall, you will see the HD Driver Board.
- Remove the SD card from the board.
- Insert the SD card into your computer.
- Open the file named “ID” using Notepad.
- Change the value to:
- 0 for a left or single unit
- 1 for a right unit
- Save the file and safely remove the SD card from your computer.
- Reinsert the SD card into the HD Driver Board.
