It has come to our attention that the ball gate control transistor can fail causing the ball gate to become inoperative. This transistor is always turned on and is unnecessary. Removal of this component and jumping the output with a 0 ohm resistor is recommended. We have found that this component will fail but once removed, the circuit becomes more reliable. This is also the recommended procedure before replacing the main board for ball gate failures
