CG1261X crane assembly (top removed)
Grab N Win uses and DC motor to move the claw up and down when the game is played. Under normal operating conditions when the game is powered on it will move the wagon and crane over the prize chute and drop the claw to break the prize sensor, once the sensor has been tripped the claw will raise to the top of the crane assembly to trigger the up switch and then go into game mode.
The motor is connected to the main board at the P1 connector. The motor signal can be read between pin 1 (brown wire) and pin 2 (red wire) you will see ~8 -12vdc when the motor is going down once the prize sensor is broken the board will reverse the polarity of the voltage to raise the claw up until the switch is made.
If the game sees the prize sensor, up switch or down switch inputs active it will stop the claw from raising and lowering. The up and down switches are normally open and will read 3.3 vdc when in active and go to 0vdc when active, a good reference ground can be located at pin 7 of the P1 connector.
