Zombie Snatcher has 6 tombstones on the playfield that flash, we use these to convey information to the operator. Under normal conditions the tombstones will light green when the station is coined up and if the player does not push the button the tombstone will flash red to try to alert the player and then the game will automatically swing the arm (eating the credit) and turn the tombstone led off.
If all 6 tombstones are flashing yellow:
During the normal boot sequence of the game all 6 tombstones will flash yellow, if the computer fails to communicate with the I/O board the tombstones will continue to flash yellow. Once communication to the computer has been established the 6 tombstone LEDS will shut off and the game will move the puck elevator up and down, if the elevator home switch is not activated when the assembly hits the bottom of the unit it will then resume flashing all 6 tombstone LEDS yellow.
If only one station is flashing yellow this indicates one of two things:
1) The puck that is in the reader assembly is not listed in the puck value menu in the game programming screen.
2) The pucks in chute has exceeded 4 and the station has been locked out. Each time a puck is won the puck is held by the solenoid, the game software looks at the elevator home switch and if the elevator is down then it will release the puck. If the game sees 4 more pucks in the chute and has not released them into the bucket it will lock the station out. Pressing Z,X,C,V,B,or N on the keyboard will manually cause the solenoid to release. The amount of pucks the software thinks are in the chute is shown on the main screen on the right hand side.
