Bean Bag Toss Important Safety Sensor Update
We have redesigned the safety sensors used in our Bean Bag Toss games. This improvement enables the sensor to communicate with the game’s software. This allows the sensor to tell the game software if it is working or not. It can now tell the game if no bags are seen from the sensor. If for any reason the sensor becomes defective and no longer communicates to the game software, the game software will now shut down the game and display “sensor” to indicate trouble. The sensor can no longer be disabled to allow game play. This protects the player and the operator.
This update should be installed in all previously purchased games. It includes a new brain board, I/O board, just the receiver of the sensor array, and a harness. A deposit is required to order this kit but will be refunded once you return your I/O board and brain board.
To identify if your game already has this updated sensor, your brain board (that’s the small 4”x4” board that sits on top of the main board) is red, you need to update. If green, you already have the update in your game. You can check the software revision too, which would be 4.06 or greater.
Previous versions of Bean Bag Toss will no longer be supported unless this update has been installed. This update will be required if replacing the main board or Front I/O board of any previous game.
To get your game updated, the following parts will need to be ordered:
UPDATETLSFTSEN (No deposit)
E02234XX w/BBT4.06 (deposit of $300 is required)
TL2137X w/1.3 (deposit of 60)
Once you have finished updating your game the last two items will need to be returned to ICE, and the deposit will be refunded. See PDF below for instructions on how to install this kit.
